Rease King and I rolled out Saturday morning and went out to Austin. We went to the Walnut Creek pump track to ride with some of the other guys from Houston that went to ride there too. Robert, Jesse, Brian were all there flowing and having a good time. We got a few clips saturday with the GoPro and iphone. Then Sunday out at 9th Street BMX trails we rode the slacker lines. They were pretty bad this weekend from the past couple of weeks rain, and the lack of time to clean them up. We tried to make the best of it and just ride what was half way decent. It had been about 7 years or so since I had been to 9th Street to ride. But we’re going to make an effort to go ride more often. Riding trails is so addicting. I will ride until I am in a walker!

Cayden’s BMX edit – Ponca City
Here is some clips thrown together from the two weeks we were in Ponca City like we do every summer. He just got his 20″ before we left. And this is his first time really doing any dirt trails, and bunny hopping ledges and stairs. To watch the progression throughout the two weeks, and since we have been home is awesome! I am encouraging him to work on being a well rounded rider doing all different forms of riding. Nothing wrong with being good at street and trails! Look forward to many more videos over the years of him riding. Already working on other footage after coming home and riding some trails here.
The Fire Challenge – With “Besmaju”
I was tagged in this post on Facebook – It has inspired me to make this quick edit looping through the funny parts. This crap is killing me man, straight comedy. As you heard the chic say “Besmaju fit’n to do tha god-damn fire challenge”. Sounds great don’t it…. sike. If the first idea to light your self on fire wasn’t good enough, well the second idea was so good it will make you fall out the shower! My Fucking Bush – The Best Video Ever
This is hands down one of the best videos I have ever seen in my life. These skaters were doing their thing jumping a small gap over some bushes, that apparently keep getting ripped out by other skaters. But none the less, the property owner took it out on the first skater he caught. His reaction is the funniest thing I have seen. I found the original edit of this and saved it to my youtube so it would be preserved! Riding anything on the street is not a crime! Support BMX, and Skateboarding!
Fixing Stripped Bolts
Gunar Fugler wadded up and bent the shit out of his radiator. It also bent the mounting bolt for the inside of the radiator. So when we backed it out, it broke. So instead of putting in a helicoil, I welded up the frame with some fresh material.
Walnut Creek Park BMX Pump Track
We made a trip out to the Walnut Creek Park bmx pump track while everything was rained out. Cayden, Rease, Dale and I had a good time bullshit’n. Even Josh McMillan showed up and ripped it up with us. I tried a 360 on a lil table for the first time. Through some OG x-ups, and half ass T-Bogs. Cant wait till it drys up and we can flow some big shit!
T Bars
I think…. I am going through the process of making some T style bars 22″ wide, 12″ tall. He wants them to be perpendicular to the ground to clear his fricso’d tank. They are coming a long. Just have to kick em forward and they’ll be dialed. My buddy Chris be grip’n em. Ready to split some lanes!
Handle Bar Bungs
I needed some stainless 1.25 bungs for some bars a buddy asked me to make for him. Couldnt find any online, so I made a call to my buddies at the machine shop. Jason Roberts wrote a program for me so I could run the machine. I just pushed a button and banged them out! Way cool using their mill. Thanks Jason and Jeff for letting me come to your shop, and helping me out. These guys have way more important shit to do than bullshit with a few dollars worth of crap! Thanks a lot again! Then I turned em down on Junk Mans lathe. My phase converter took a dump on me. So thanks to these cats for helping me out in some down time!
Sportster Shifter
Machined up a Sportster shifter tip cause I snapped the other one off loading my bike. I was riding it up the ramp kinda slow and the torque of the motor threw the ramp out and the bike high centered on the bed of the truck, looped out, and landed upside down! Luckily it was in the grass hahaha! Aint that a bitch. Good thing about is it gave me another cool thing to make since there wasnt much of a selection online. Your own shit is always cooler!
Jumping The Sportster
So we were riding around Ft Worth looking for some jumps to hit. We found some and then went and sent it out of this ditch…. Well the lack of suspension just couldnt save this thing from breaking shit! If I had my other forks and shocks it would of been different! Thanks to Billy for hooking me up with a quick tig job to fix the peg mount that ripped out of the sprocket cover! You’ll notice in the video my left foot spins the peg, right foot slaps the ground, and the head light falls out from a loose seal!
